I did and I had a few fics beta'ed. However I have terrible expieriences with it. It kinda made them loose their touch. And since people who read fanfiction are from different corners of the world, with different knowledge of english, I figured that it isn't really such a problem. No offense against englishman (in new york...ooh oh I'm an alli- sorry about that. It happens), but you'll have to cope. (Also I'll have you know that I didn't have english lessons for two years now and my english teachers knew neither english nor slovak (my native language), so for that I consider my english skills high enough. I speak fluently and even if my grammar isn't the best - I won't get lost. But that's besides the point now.) ALso I noticed that things take longer with a beta and if there's something I don't have, it's time. And through writing the skills improve. They are better now than half a year ago - when I reread what I wrote back then I bang my head on the keyboard (which makes writing really only worse ...I'm getting out of the point again, I have to stop this) muttering how in the whole word, seven heaven and nine gates of hell could I make those mistakes. And then there are the typos, which is another thing I'm incapable preventing. I can reread it ten times, they always lsip past me. Annoying little brats... And since it's late and I'm talking too much (Yozak has a bad influence on me) I'll rather finish this. I'm close to rambling. That means: Finish. NOW. Duh. I hope I was able to enlighten you about my reasons of not beta'ing my fanfics and hope you can understand them. Most of my readers do. ^^ But still thanks for the notice. I promise to improve myself. ...Funny, I just now notice that I already replied today to one of your reviews...I'm really tired... Ah and thanks for that other notice: I'll make sure to put in more definitions about who is speaking. That's a promise. Cross my heart. All in all, thanks for your notices! ^^ The more people talk to me and tell me where I could improve myself, or where my little mistakes lay, the more I can improve myself. I always keep saying I'm not a mind reader. So thank you very much again ^^ *hugs you* I hope to get more reviews from you in the future! (For that I should continue wiriting my hiatus fanfics, huh?)
